Why we farm
Discouraged by the increasing industrialization of our Nation’s food system, we made the decision to “change our own little piece of the world” by farming for ourselves. After a year-long search, we found the 10 acres in Lincoln County, North Carolina that would not only change our lives, but also many others. Now, not just our own family, but our customers’ also have access to clean, conscientiously grown food. The care we put into producing our pork, chicken, eggs and produce is apparent in every bite. Every day is full of fresh air, hard work and soul-building. We are Grateful for the opportunity and ability to grow and share the gift of amazing food.
Where we came from
One of the really unique and wonderful aspects of our farm is the powerful combination of culinary artistry and ‘craftsmanship agriculture’. Cassie has a background as a chef in prestigious fine-dining venues, Natalie grew up on a small farm in Ohio. Our instincts for food and farming are the product of years of experience and passionate learning. We know first hand that great meals start with fabulous ingredients, and are proud to be in the business of creating the stuff that will amaze guests around your table at home and in restaurants alike.
